Give the gift of inclusion this holiday season
Exclusion can shape a childhood.
Inclusion can help change its future.
Meet Tracey
Tracey is a 16-year-old Young Disability Advocate with autism and ADHD. Her mum, Julie, describes her as funny, energetic and destined to do wonderful things.
Growing up with autism and ADHD, Tracey often felt misunderstood and alone. While other children formed friendships, she struggled to find someone who would accept her.
“Those times in the playground when I was just alone… just trying to find someone who would accept me.” — Tracey
Too many children with disability and additional support needs still experience this same loneliness and exclusion.

Early support can help change a child’s experience
When children’s needs are understood and supported early,
they have more opportunities to develop their skills,
form relationships and participate alongside their peers.
For 50 years, Koorana Child & Family Services has worked alongside children with disability and additional support needs and their families across Sydney.
We also work with families and educators to build the understanding and practical skills that make inclusion part of children’s everyday lives.
But there are still children who feel misunderstood. Families who feel isolated. And communities that need greater knowledge and support to include every child.
With your help, we can continue working towards a future in which no child is left on the sidelines.
